All About Samsung Galaxy S8

In 2017, All eyes have been on Samsung new flagship smartphone  Galaxy S8. After the big failure of Galaxy Note 7 Samsung lost more than a billions of Dollars last year. Now Samsung take its time for the launch of Galaxy S8. Likely Samsung Launch their flagships on MWC but in 2017 MWC Samsung only launch Galaxy Tab S3 on this event. Samsung  will unveiling Galaxy S8 and S8 plus at a dedicated Unpacked event on 29 March 2017. And its available for all user April 21.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Display

Samsung Galaxy S8 have a dual-edged curved display with bezzel-less design. S8 feauture a 5.5 inch 4k(2160 x 3840) Super AMOLED display with pixel density of 806ppi.

Samsung Galaxy S8 iris scanner

Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to feature an iris scanner just like Note 7, which will allow users to unlock the smartphone just by looking at it.

Samsung is ditch the Home Button, and have an all-display front. Traditionally, all Samsung smartphones have integrated the fingerprint sensor on the Home Button, but because the Home Button is being let go, the fingerprint sensor may reside at the back of the phone  another report notes that the device may sport an optical fingerprint scanner that will enable reading thumb print through the display as well.

The Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone will likely be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor  from Qualcomm while an Exynos 8895-based variant is also being rumoured. It will have a 6GB of RAM or an 8GB of RAM. With 32GB or 64GB internal storage variants with separated microSD slot for further memory expansion.

Samsung not bring the dual camera setup  due to the large display in the front, a dual camera setup will be hard to cram in. However the camera  will see and upgrade and the Samsung Galaxy S8 may finally become the company's first smartphone to feature autofocus functionality on the front camera.

Samsung Galaxy S8 report claims that the battery capacity of the smartphone will be 3000mAh, the same as that of the Galaxy S7. On the other hand, Galaxy S8 Plus' battery capacity is said to be 3500mAh, smaller than the 3600mAh battery of the Galaxy S7 Edge. Because Samsung this time careful regarding battery the main reason is Note7 failure due to battery issue.

The price of the Galaxy S8 is still a mystery, but a few reports hint that due to the major changes, the smartphone will be priced a little higher than the Samsung Galaxy S7. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus prices to be $850 and $950.
