Moto G5 and G5 Plus
After so many leaks and rumors about hardware and specs, Lenovo finally announced the Moto G5 and G5 plus at MWC 2017. Moto continues the G series flagship smartphone with affordable price range and premium features like metal body, fingerprint sensor and nice camera.
Moto G5
Lets start with Moto G5. Its change a lot before its came in plastic body construction and new G5 came in aluminum body with removable back. Its sports a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Phone powered by 1.4 Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB to 32GB of internal storage with expandable via microSD card slot to 128GB. Moto G5 camera updated with 13MP rear and 5MP front facing camera with laser fast auto focus. It should be noted that there is no 802.11ac WiFi present. Powering the phone is a 2800mAh removable battery with a 10W rapid charger, no NFC feature and running Android Nougat out of the box and upgrade to upcoming Android O this year end.
Moto G5 Plus
Moto G5 plus also came in aluminum body with removable back. Its sports a slightly large 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Phone powered by 2.0 Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with 2GB to 4GB RAM and 32GB to 64GB of internal storage with expandable via microSD card slot to 128GB. Moto G5 camera updated with 12MP rear and 5MP front facing camera with laser fast auto focus. Moto G5 Plus also have NFC feature. Powering the phone is a 3000mAh battery with a 10W rapid charger and running Android Nougat out of the box and upgrade to upcoming Android O this year end.
Both phones will be available in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold finishes. The Moto G5 16 GB / 2 GB RAM will launch in March for $200 with no US availability, and the Moto G5 Plus will go on sale in April for $229 32 GB / 2 GB RAM in the US and elsewhere.
